The Caretaker

Here we have a design for a bio-engineered creature which was created to tend to a huge mothership, as a mechanic and janitor. Designed to be neither seen or heard, they transport themselves throughout the giant living ship through specially designed corridors and tubes, using their limbs to navigate like a spider or an ant. They communicate with the mothership and eachother using radio frequencies picked up by their antennae and tail. They usually wear masks and clothes suited for their tasks, and have access to a wide range of tools for any job. Below the mask, they have an uncannily human-like face, hinting that they may not be as alien as they first appear.
