Here's my first piece of needle felting I've ever done.
If you don't know what needle felting is, its where you manipulate wool into felt by stabbing it repeatedly with a special barbed needle. This mats the fibres together, which creates "sculpted" felt.
Sprink stands about 12 cm (4 1/2 inches) tall and 15 cm (6 inch) long (including his tail!).
I worked on and off on this over the past week and a half, but I don't know how many hours it took. This is really practise for a project me and my sister will be undertaking (Cheshire cat anyone? XP)
The eyes are beads, sewn on! He was really fun to make.
