Midgeroot has travelled for much of his life. He hatched in a rocky, coastal cliff-side colony. Midge is well-learned, taking an interest in herbal magics and medicine, he digs through old manuscripts in dusty libraries upon visiting cities. When he's not reading, he'll be out doing his own research- collecting plant ingredients, experimenting with their properties and writing his own detailed notes. He has acquired a poison affinity after building up a tolerance from sampling so many potentially toxic ingredients.
Midge is a bit of a loner, but polite if not a little eccentric around others. He will never go back on his word, and will use his herbal knowledge to help others if required to. Healing isn't his main focus, he's more interested in herbal magic and medicine from a scholarly point of view.
He's known to like a good beer now and again. The plant that grows on his head flowers sporadically with small, pink flowers. It's mildly toxic, but wards off insects and can help prevent fatigue.
